We see words such as unconditional, forever, safe and home.
Yet the voyage is painful, the cuts, wounds and bruises pain us.
Captain cooks life journey yet we never left the city.
Our pain crippling, our hearts remain hopeful.
Ignorance or delusion?
Fakeness shown yet tears on pillows soaked in feel real.
Best foot forward but the other solid on the ground.
pivot , turn and contort, boundaries pushed and identities stripped.
All in the name of ‘but he loves me’
Tattered skirts as the mud burns your skin.
Dragged.
A thousand pieces, shattered. A heart? But this was never yours.
Disney took it, gave it hope, wonder and stupidity, for you really arent special.
There is no prince.
Only you, so stop hunting for it.
Unconditional is a fairy tale.
And it's time to grow up little girl.
Put down the spear, your hunt is over, the waters clear and the fish gone.
