Acquired Taste

The first drop engulfs our body, the balls fly through the sky adorning their ultimate purpose, they rotate alike the sun, they twist and turn.

The air moving them, swaying them as the rhythm starts to play, ears penetrated by familiar sounds, a melody of simplicity. A finger movement begins simultaneously as a tongue rotates slowly around lips, ready to allow the air just inhaled, to be transformed from carbon dioxide to a sound only a saxophone produces.

Lisa Simpson, melodies and mariachi bands, ears filled with joyous sound, the left brain lights up and like Franklin Road at Christmas the fairies dance in the dark

Sun lost in the view as the sounds get louder, yet the obtusity resounding as eyes work harder, the executive function begins to ignite the brain, crown imperial limousine engine sparks as Sabrina darts through the trees, cloaked in invisibility alike Jo Stockton.

The irony of iconic playing invisible, poetic or obscene? A Tiffany blue without a croissant adjourning a lady of the night outside 5th avenue, the soft carvatures above, birds and those with a few moments to spare can see, her kitten heels patting on the pavement as she joins cat in her apartment.

Without a name, the sadness overpowers and alike a purposeless life the blankets provide her comfort. Rest and sorrow, twining sets a whole new meaning in this Blake Edwards film.

A classic, yet Sabrina is the most played on my screen. The shine of the sun reflecting on the lake as the crystal-like gems sparkle in your eyes, science reasoning and realistic dreams wash away as the color invites you into the possibilities your dreams, your vision, your destiny allows for you.

A tireless worker without a purpose or a woman whose vision allowed her the dedication of Michelangelo, a conviction to God, yet hers to be a freedom of judgment formed in religion, in society and in a world that conforms you to boxes.

Now used to fold, wrap and pack, a new address and journey ahead, the movement of fluidity runs tirelessly, the desire lingers and the tune of the rhythm starts to play.
